Default Boom Speakers on SG???????

Probably a dumb queastion, but does anyone know why they're direct plug in for the Electra glide and trike, but not a Streetglide according to Harley's website?

Fits '06-later Electra GlideŽ and Trike models equipped with fairing mount speakers and Advanced Audio System radio.

The link doesn't work from my phone. My Boom speakers I bought this summer for my 12 Streetglide were plug and play and a big improvement over stock, especially at speed.

They will plug and play in a Street Glide no problem. They mean a Bat Wing style fairing:

This is in the main description:

mount in the Electra GlideŽ style fairing with no modifications. Complete kit includes two-way speaker design with separate custom grill-mounted tweeters, electronic crossovers, and plug and play wiring connections.

A streetglide is still a electraglide. They will work fine.
