Man, I really want to check out the Mako, but not liking the shipping costs on it....
From what I read though, it's a great shield.
My Ultra flip on my SG was great - you can't go wrong with LRS!

Seems like they always offer 40-50% off their shields. I have a 6 and 8 inch for my SG and have no issues with them. I like the 6 better but thats simply because of the looks. I agree their shipping is a little pricey but it is somewhat of a larger box even though they dont weigh much.

Thanks all. This current one will go through until Monday. The Mako is not suppose to be on the list, but it seems the code is working on those too. Good time to try one out, as that is already at a discounted price. I know the shipping is a bit steep on those, but the box for the Mako is huge. In fact, one guy that went to ship one back to us because he got the wrong size, was asked for $38 due to box size. Not sure why they were going to charge him that, and not us to get it to him in the first place. I sent him a return label. So, don't let that deter you either. I'll certainly work with you if it's not to your satisfaction.

(BTW... are they still measured from the top of the Nacelle, or top of the cut-out??)

Sweet- thanks for the heads up on this deal. I've had a taller windshield on my wish list for awhile and just could not pass this deal up. I've heard some pretty good feedback from prior posts about LRS shields, so I am hopingfor the best.Looking forward to getting my 7" dark tint for my SG & hoping it provides better protection than the stock 4"- which feels pretty worthless at times!
