I have the Harley Hammock seat on my 09 Ultra and I love it. It keeps my but happy. Not sure if it sits you back farther or whatever but it is a comfortable seat. I know there is two different versions and I have the original version. I have sat for a short time on a new version so I cant really say much about the newer vs original.
Here is the link to the seat, look at the second view and you will see why its comfy. I really like it and have put several 700+ days in a row on it with no problems...
09 Road King - 6'3" Big Old Guy - Put on about 15K miles a year.
I need to sit a little higher and abut one inch farther back. Need some padding on this old *** so I have already eliminated the Mustangs.
What do you all think?
I think you should consider a Russell Day Long Saddle. Nothing out there including HD's hammock comes close to a Russell in comfort. Google "Russell Day Long Reviews"
Personally I really liked the HD hammock seat in my road king and ultra limited. I recently ordered a saddlemen for my flstc. You can go to the dealer and they will let your try out seats and you can choose which one fits you best.
I had my dealer put a Hammock on my '07 Road King. Lifts you up about an inch. It's really quite comfortable when compared to the stock seat. I can ride all day now with no burn. Next up will be the back rest.
