Ok After bike being down for a month all the pieces finally came together this morning. Finished installing my TM Tuner. It went very well and I followed directions like they said. The step I am on now is the riding part. Did about 85 miles or so and man let me tell you, I did not know a Harley could run that dam good. I was very, very impressed. I still will have to hook up to the TM again to tighten perimeters but that wont be a problem. TM has how you get a more responsive throttle and I did not pay this any mind but now I see (or should I say felt) what they are talking about. It is just amazing what this tuner has done for my bike. Also got my Klockwerks 6.5 installed yesterday so my whole ride this afternoon was like a whole new bike. I would say if your thinking about a TM tuner bite the bullet and spend the extra money, you wont regret it. I love it already and only rode a little today. Also I did all this myself with absolutely no outside help OTHER than what I have read on HD Forum and the TM manuals. I hope this helps someone with their decision. Thanks for reading my rambling,I am just this excited about it. I am so ready to ride.
One thing I just found out about the TMax, is you can set up 6 different maps. In order to switch between maps you have to switch off the bike. Indication of which map you are running is indicated on the speedo. 10mph = map 1, 20mph = map2, etc. I have to get mine put back in and play with this a little bit.
Congrats on getting it working. Put one on a 2002 Electra Glide and made a world of difference for that bike. Seemed like it was always 'strained' for some reason? Tmax smoothed that right out.
Going to bite the bullet again for a 2012 Road King soon with Tmax and a Stage 1 upgrade...Intake, 2 into 1 Rush muffs...and then just ride the heck out of. Again, congrats!

I have a TMax and didn't know this was possible. I would love to learn how to do this so I don't have to hook the laptop up to go between different tunes. For my daily ride I like more timing than for riding 2 up in the hills.

Same experience with my TMax! A lot of members like to bash the TMax based on cost. I believe that you get what you pay for and I haven't had a single complaint on my tuner. If you can't afford it, save your money until you can, IMHO.
Must be a newer feature as the 02 E.G. doesn't have this? Wait...I'll have to check with them. I said that to earlier as I don't know if the online updates to the T-Max software may of added this feature? None-the-less, thanks for the vids and tip(s). Getting closer to my install(s)....
Plus it may be for TBW only?

Reason: TBW added
I believe Fuel Moto is extending their $150 credit on a tuner trade in until the end of Jan for those wanting to trade in and get a bit back....just sayin
