It'd make me wonder what's going to happen next. Watch how you sneeze around it.

These mirrors work a little different than standard mirrors because their ball mount is much bigger. Instead of piviting them like you would normally do, it's better to slide the mirror up or down and side to side to get the position you need. And once you get them near what you want, you only have to twist them slighty to get the perfect spot. In fact, once you get them near your favorite spot, they will stay pretty close and only require a slight twist when bumped out of position.

These mirrors take some getting used too, but once you do, they work fine.

After I foobared that one I realized how easily they are to adjust the "right way" with the right side mirror. Wife is still a little heated and my big dumb irish luck this morning.

The stock mirror itself is $37.50

I'd take the front fairing off and look at the inside before I got all excited.
The tightner nut is in there. It's all plastic though.

The nut may have loosened from vibration. Look inside the fairing and see if the nut is broken. You may only need to replace or retighten the nut.

I wish that was all. It came off in my hand and the back of the mirror where the stud is attached to the plastic is snapped. I may have gotten really really lucky and found a set that is local to me. Now to just appease the misses
