Thanks for the kind words. My Dad is still fairly young so I hope we can get plenty of miles in before the big rally in the sky. I'm 27 and he is almost 51. He runs a restaurant in town and we get plenty of thumbs up at the stoplights because everyone knows him. Lol His bike is his baby. He is a long way ahead of me but I hope to catch up with him one day

Btw, your day's chrome Airstrike rims look awesome!
I was wanting a 21" front wheel until I seen his with the Airstikes. They look awesome and you still have the ride quality. After I have my chrome front end installed, I think the Airstrikes will be my next purchase.
Kick *** thread. I love to see this type of good stuff!!! I rode with my dad on the back of one of my uncles CB 750s way back when and lost my dad too early. I try everyday to be the best dad I can and my almost 8 year old son loves every minute on the bike!! This time of year it is on snowmobile for us, but loves that just as much. Enjoy every minute and all the thumbs up!! Good job
Kris
My dad doesn't ride, but we just watched football together, as we always do. He's 80 now and I'm thankful that we can hang out and enjoy the game together. It's great that you and your dad can ride together. Treasure it!
I saw this thread and had to check it out. I am very jealous of anyone that can ride in January. As I type this it is below zero outside and even my truck will have difficulty starting without being plugged in.
My parents have been gone for some time but I still have the little woman, we had a brief but good afternnon ride on Saturday, was in the low 60's and a little breezy but good time. Stopped for a lite bite of early dinner then shot home as the sun settled. Sunday it was high of 34 and with that a ice storm/rain and light snow that night. Hoorah for a little window of opportunity!
Thats nice you can get out in January. Its also nice to ride with your dad. I go on bike trips with mine also. I am 30 and he is 56 so he has a few years left
Excellent post man! I just picked my Harley up last week and felt really akward calling my dad to tell him about when he has wanted one every since I can remember. His work is falling off now too which is even more of a bummer! I told my wife if next year's bonus is decent enough, I might try to find a way to get him rollin.
Good to see family enjoyin' time together! Take every chance you get.
