Default acr removal tool

do i actually need an acr removal tool? is there any alternative or do i need to buy one?

No you don't . Makes things a little easier but it is not hard to take them out any way.

What did you use to remove them and reinstall them with?

I got one out, sprayed the hell out of it with free-all. The other one, not so lucky. I just can't get it. I'm a plumber and I even tried notching a faucet wrench for tub faucets. Thought I had something, but it didn't work and I'm afraid I'm going to break it! Guess I'm calling the dealer tomorrow to see if they have any in stock. Then in a few days I guess I'll be posting it in the classifieds!!!!

Bit the bullet today and dropped my heads off at the dealer to have them remove the other acr and install into the new heads. Still cheaper than buying the tool. Then spent $200 on fluids, gaskets, and tank dash insert. Dropped over 40 parts to get powdercoated too!!!
