I voted for black , but the chrome would look great as well . Either way your bike is going to look hot.

Good info there Bryan. I heard that the 150 ME880's weren't rated for our weight limits but the Avon 150's were. Does anyone know the skinny on this?

ORIGINAL: Bryan TTM

i run 18 x 3.5's front and rear....Metz ME880's rear is 150, front 140...bike handles way better than stock...you can get a 160 on a 3.5 and it will fit on your bike(06 and earlier)....when you choke a 160 down to 3.5 it loses some of its handlin quality...160 witha 4.25 works very well and will go on an 07 perfect, ours will almost rub the belt...we could go to the skinny belt but that means changin to skinny pulleys too....i have run Avons and Metz, both have been great tires with good wear, they grip way better than the dunlops...to me there's no difference in either brand that i can notice....now, there ya have it

They had a listing in their feedback on a wheel with black spokes and a chrome lip. Apparently ebay deleted the picture but here is the ad. You could call and see if they have a picture and might could have another made if that was what you liked. I spoke with Steve who is over there motorcycle wheels and he seemed like a good guy to deal with.Wound up getting a Weld from Shooter though. Put a 21 on the front of my SG and love the look. Rubbed a little in the back of the fender when put it on so I slotted the rear mount holes just a little and got it to clear fine. Also, I did a lot of homework on the load ratings and found that any Metz or Avon other than the factory 16 sizes will give up some load capacity. For that reason and the fact that the rear wheel is covered, myself and a friend of mine both stuck with a 16 on the rear. I went with a 21 front and he went with an 18 and both of us lost about 100lb in front load rating. I'll keep looking for my list of tire sizes and capacities that I made while I was looking and will post it if I find it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

Results so far:
27 combined voted for the black wheels30 combined votes for the chrome wheels
32 combined votes for the 18's front/back
25 votes for the 21" front

I'm liking the 18" chrome front/back. Look like the verdict. Thanks.

I have the 18 X 4.25 in the Back and 21 X 3.5 up front and they are great, they fill the front fender perfectly. To make sure the Tires didn't rub i enlarged the Holes in the Fender and moved the fender up an 1/8 of an inch for more clearence. Chrome you can't go wrong
