Default rode today

Temps got into the lower 60s so I put the bike together enough to go for a bit of a putt. Got the position of the bars right. Bike rode real well. The 12 1/2 wild1s are exactly what I wanted.

My only problem is I cant get my cruise to work. I will have to recheck the wires, but Im pretty sure I have them right. I guess Im going to have to take it in to the shop and see if they can find out whats wrong.

Jealous from across the pond, wished I could ride, but mother nature has other plans , and does not take much snow over here to cause huge problems. Glad someone is enjoying some riding though.

O.K. I just went out and tried that switch it on and off thing.
Now before I say THAT worked let me say when I got back from my ride earlier I noticed my brake light didnt work. The hand lever wasnt hitting the switch and the brake light was stuck on............................ I fixed it and when I just went out for a quick test ride I got three blocks from the house and remembered how the cruise is interrupted.
Right.
Cruise works.
Oh, I should mention. Poly bushings are great, but they squeak. Any thoughts?

I just did bars and poly bushings no squeaks here. I rode today as well but I live in Iowa so that's pretty rare in mid January! We hit 50 today but tomorrows high is 17!

It was most likely your brake switch, I thought of it at first but then gave you credit that you weren't that *****'in sloppy !...lol. But the ignition switch on & off works as a reset. Glad you got everything working. The squeak should go away with a little use, if it doesn't probably just a couple shots of JD for you and a shot of WD40 on the bushings.
P.S. Check your torque and tightening clamp sequence, also could just be from the switch cover plate rubber against the bars.

Hit 50 in Omaha today, the temptation was too much for me, had to go for a ride!
