I didn't want to have to add a tuner or screw up the way mine runs with just the 3.5" slip on's w/ standard baffles & no a/c kit or tuner but with the cat in the stock head pipe still in place I did want it to sound a little louder.
I noticed no difference in power when going to the 2.5" baffles from the stock 2.25" baffles, but I do have AutoTune on the bike.

I checked the trim numbers after installing the 2.5" baffles and there were some very minor trim adjustments, very minor. Even without AutoTune I don't think there would be any reason retune for the 2.5" baffles. The 2.25" stock baffles are pretty open anyway.

The tone with the 2.5" baffles is deeper and a little louder. More badass sounding, I love'em.

Where are you going to get the Fullsac's from?

Great! That's the info I hoped to hear. Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.

The only difference between the two are that Fuel Moto's are stainless steel, and Fullsacs are not (regular steel?). Both are ceramic coated. Also, Fullsacs are black and the FM's are silver-IMO, black is better because there is a spot or two where you can see the header pipe where the heat sheild doesn't cover it, and I'd rather see the black then the silver color.

There won't be any performance difference between the two.

Also, Fullsac now offers various versions of their x pipe- stepped and non-stepped with various diameters.

On this forum, most support Fuel Moto and deservedly so. I'm also on the CVO forum where we support Fullsac, but really, both great products and great companies to deal with.

You live in Rineyville and bought Rinehart pipes? Sweet.

V&H pipes are probably illegal in your town anyway.

I do have 4" Rineharts on my 2010 Ultra with the Fuel Moto 2-1-2 pipe. They sound great. The FM107 really helps bring them to life as well.

I hear nothing but good things about Kuryakyn's mufflers and cams. The mufflers are called Crushers. I was interested in them before, but after listening to the Youtube clips, I think they sound kind of muffled. I'm guessing they sound much better in person from what everyone says.
