Default Changing lifters question

I'm putting a new set of cams in my 07 Ultra and was going to change the lifters at the same time. My question is when you remove the lifter blocks and re-install them, do you have to use the alignment pins on them like you use to do with the evo engines? I've been looking through the manual and I can't find anything on this

No you don't. I just did some cam chest work and replaced the lifters at the same time. Just drop the new lifters in, put your locating dowel back in place on the flat spots, and put the lifter blocks and gaskets back on. There was no aligning necessary.
