i will for sure post the finished product. my photographer friend will be submitting the pictures to all the regular mags for a feature...hopefully it gets picked up
i'm also adding 888s, SE cam plate/pump, woods lifters, baker PCT and red shift CCTs to see how far i can take this motor (its already a 106). i beat the living dog **** out of it so we'll see
so far, the SE comp and clutch spring are holding the power just fine (126 ft/lbs). once i burn the clutch up ill replace it with something tougher
Hey Rope,
Man, I would love to see some Ram Horn apes on that sinister looking bike. I can't find a pic of exactly what I am talking about, but something with a little more twist than this:
I would want the twist to continue on around to where my grips were both vertical, with the ends of the bars pointing straight up. Clutch and brake lever would face toward the front of the bike. I know it's radical, but in my simple mind bars like that would really match the radical and obviously devious spirit of that paint job in your attached pics. And it would not be hard to steer and control at all.
OK, my creativity is shot. That's all I got. Look forward to the finished product.
