I was wondering if they were useful as additional light. I took off my Kuryaykn driving light because they were not useful as added lighting and people would flash me. I'm just about to try ordering the CD Dynamic Ringz.
Oh, and its Mardi Gras time down here, lots of flashing in the city!!!
They are pretty bright not not directional enough that they would affect anyone coming at you. Those of you getting flashed may want to check the adjustment of your headlight.
I have them and they are BRIGHT as hell. Have not been out at night yet since putting them on. My bike is an 09 Street Glide and I put the "visor" chrome front trim rings on the signals which may direct the light a little better than just a plastic lense. They are amazingly bright and go well with my Phase 7 led headlamp. I run the amber in the back and they are also very bright when flashing. That's exactly what I wanted for the added visibility.
Boy I wish I had that problem ! Its hard to get woman to flash these days !!!
Not if you hang out in Sturgis on any of the decks at Easy Rider saloon towards dusk.........more contagious than the flu.
As far as the light ringz, not a bad problem to have as many have said, at least your being seen. Sounds like they are bright enough to keep cages from seeing through you in the daytime as well.

More beads!!!
As to the OP's question, I've had them for a few months and they are bright. Don't notice any added lighting while riding though. At daytime, I usually always ride with high beams on. I could care less if it is seen as "annoying". They see me and that's all I care about. Too bad I may have interrupted their texting session.
On another note, if someone wants to tailgate with high beams because they are upset that they saw my bright lights......hope they are ready to dance!
I am ALWAYS prepared to deal accordingly. They usually tend to "calm down" when they realize that I'm not intimidated and happy to oblige!!!
I could see if you were really low in the back and high in the front, when I crouched down and look at mine after I first installed them during the day they were pretty bright. At the right angle, with tinted lens there just as bright as my high beams.
