I'm pretty buzzed, and i just spent awhile searching... and having not been buzzed, i may or may not have come up with more, but i didn't. Anyway, i could swear that i've seen the custom bags, like the ones on my bike, with chrome trim of some sort or another... seems i remember it was maybe cvo bags or some such. Can't seem to find anything about it though... plenty of chrome trim stuff for the classic bags, but not for the custom ones. Guess that makes sense as there are a lot more of the classic bags out there. Does anybody know what i'm thinkin of? Was out in the garage earlier lookin at the bike and thought maybe them bags might look good with a splash of chrome to dress em up a bit. Thanks, sorry for the ramblin post.
The '07 and '08 CVO Road King bags had a chrome strip ... otherwise they look almost identical to the Road King Custom bags ... I believe the CVO bags also have stitching flames on the top of the lids, as well ...
I don't believe the chrome accents are sold separately ... below is a photo of the '08 CVO ...
88222-07 TRIM SADDLEBAG right (chrome) | PG $224.00
88223-07 TRIM SADDLEBAG left (chrome) | PG $224.00
... not how available it is ... I have been told that the MoCo keeps a tight rein on CVO parts and doesn't release them to just anyone ... do not know if that is true ...
... also, I suppose it is possible that the parts are discontinued or out of stock ...
Guess I'll let those of you who are interested in them 'run it to ground' ...

Hey thanks man for diggin that up. seriously. i appreciate it. and also, now i've lost all interest. After seeing the prices for a few pieces of chrome, i went back out to the shop, lit a smoke, walked around my bike, and decided that them bags look pretty damn good just the way they are.
