Ok, I've read the threads that talk about this but had to try it myself. Mobil 1 V Twin 20-50 makes my top end incredibly noisy! Had Redline 20-60 in last time and the difference is very very noticeable. It might be good oil, but I'm sure there are other fine oils out there that are quieter. Can't believe some people that can't hear the difference.
When you say noisier - what are you referring to (rattle, slapping, knocking) and where from? All I can say is I've run M1 20W/50 v-twin synth in my scoot since 100-miles new and she purrs like a sleeping lion. Any oil is what you make of it & controversial topic on these forums so...no worries.
