Baggers, Oysters, and Agitators
Thanks to the dealership for supplying the oysters and the beer. It was sunny and clear and we didn't need the tents, but it was nice to have them had the weather not cooperated.
While talking to the parts guy, I began to stare at those Agitator wheels. (I know, do NOT look directly at the wheels). Got me thinking. My parts gal told me that they would do 15% off and she also quoted me a great deal of the new Dunlop tires. It would be a 19" in front and 18" in rear. And of course Agitators require their own rotors...no big deal because I would go new anyway.
Haven't got the quote yet, but she is to call me this week. I know I can beat her price a little bit if I order from somewhere like Lake Shore, but this is a small shop and I don't mind supporting these folks if I can make a good trade. I do hate paying the 8% sales tax...but it could be worse. I'll just have to trade them out of something to make up for it (if I can). I'll post the deal she makes me and see what you guys think.
Never did care for the looks of the HD rotors that come with the Agitator wheels.
They don't look like they go together.
One of the draw-backs for me.

Looks like a great time - I haven't had a good raw oyster in awhile (ocean-type, keep it clean). Might have to get back to East coast for some.
