The regular +2 sweepers in chrome for your 2012 would be KW#300515 or Drag Specialties #0601-0841

They raised my arms about about 2" higher, have 1" more pullback, are 2" wider than stock and the wrist angle is much straighter than the stock bars. Hands are still fully behind the fairing. Removed the stock mirrors as they were useless now and used stock Electra Glide mirrors.

First thing I noticed was that it was much easier to back the bike out of the garage and turn it around in the driveway. the old feeling of having my hands positioned like they were moving a wheelbarrel was gone. It was easier to turn the bike lock to lock and push it around.

Out on the road, I went to practice some U-turns, much easier as well, the extra width and pullback provided more leverage and made it easier to handle at low speeds compared to stock.

Out on the road for a 1 hour ride, the pullback and hieght changed my position in the seat, there was no more being slightly hunched over. This also changed how my legs reached the footpegs a little as well and provided a much better overall fit on the bike. More than anything the feel of the bike went from sitting on the bike to much more of sitting in the bike.

Hope that description can help anyone looking to change thier bars and was looking at the Khrome Werks. (for reference i'm, 6' tall with a 33" reach)

Of course it started snowing again last night. so it will be a while before any more riding happens.
Pretty much the exact same experience just put these on about a month ago and took it out during a half *** decent day here in Iowa. Only thing I disagree with is I have no problem using the stock mirrors whatsoever. I am only 5'6" though so maybe that has something to do with it. The sig picture is the first day I took them out after install it was a brief thaw with slop everywhere but I wanted to make sure there were no surprises. Only problem during the install for me was the left side wiring keeps getting pinched when I try to fully tighten the clutch perch so I had to just snug it up or the radio would short out!

Looking at these for my Limited, did you have to change the clutch cable?

The standard sweepres do do need any cable changes. The +2 and 2+2 require a longer clutch cable. I have the harley one I bought but went with the standard sweepers and never opened it, if interested.

For the Sweepers +2 it needed a 3" longer clutch cable. The stock Brake cable ( abs ) and all the standard wiring worked with the bars. I do not know what cable changes are needed for the sweeper 2+2 .

Just starting the job of changing to the KW 2+2 on my 2011 limited. I'm 6'2" with 35 inch sleeve and found myself leaning forward on the original bars which eventually numbed my hands and shoulders. Purchased the SE TBW cable and a +4 clutch. Just into the job far enough to get old bar off and be looking at putting the new TBW cable on. Have not started on clutch cable yet. I notice the end of the TBW where my heated grips plug in looks a bit different so need to figure that out, looks like the heated grips wire runs up into the center of the grip. Also need to look into Dawgs wiring color differences he mentions in another thread for the TBW connections. Hope I like them as much as original post.

I'm 6'1" (long torso) with a 35" sleeve length - and I use a Sundowner seat on my '11 SG. To reach the stock bars, I have to lean slightly forward and reach down.

I like the Sweeper +2's because getting the bars closer to me is vital. If the pullback incorporates a modest rise from the stock position, then I think I'm sold on the +2's; however, if the +2's provide no rise from the stock position, then the 2+2's may be a better option.

If you don't mind me asking, what are you vital statistics (height, torso, sleeve length)? I'm curious as to why you feel the 2+2 would suit you better.

Thanks for your help, Dawg.

Dawg, if you don't mind me asking, what is your height, torso type and shirt length? I'm curious as to why you feel you need to move to the 2+2's.
