I have the Metro blaster (no kids). I love this thing. It makes drying teh bike much easier and you will be surprised all the places that you will get water out of after a good wash. Highly recommended. I got mine on Amazon for a little less.

$199 for a small leaf blower?

I bought an electric leaf blower at a garage sale for $10. I then cleaned it up and have been using it for about 5 years now. A quick touch up with a microfiber cloth and the whole drying operation is done in 5 minutes.

Do the MC air dryer's have less air velocity? I've been using a leaf blower. When I took my bike apart and found corrosion in spots. I'm thinking that the leaf blower forces water into wiring, under covers, etc.
