I read about the Road6Customs. Was wondering what you thought about it. Bad? Good? I want the lowered bike look that won't mess up the ride. I'm about 250 lbs. If its bad, what would you recommend?

Thanks!
There have been a ton of people use these and love them. I looked at a lot of different ones and went with the Burley kit. You will find the topic of lowering kits will get you many different opinions. Some love them while others hate them.
I wouldn't run a kit. I know there are a lot of people that will disagree with me, I just don't trust them. Lowered shocks are a better, safer way. Just my own vices here.
I just got a 13 RKC and have been in the same boat you are. I'm flat footed with it as is but not (sure footed) when backing it up etc. So I just need a inch or so. I have had a lot of people point me to the 12inch Progressive shocks, or the reduced reach seat to come up with the extra inch. Road6customs, Burley kits like that move the shock back and down so they are out of the question due to the bags molded plastic on the back will not line up with the shock anymore thus making it impossible to pin them back on. I think if you are looking to just lower the bike then you have two options. Option A. Get hard bags and then a road6custom or burley kits or Option B. Change shocks. This is just my 2 cents if you go the shocks make sure to change the fork springs as well.
I have a set of lowered shocks from Bitchin Baggers that are 11.5" that I just took off my 09 Road King Classic. They worked good. I'll sell them for $130.00 if interested. Scott

So what did you end up doing? I'm very curious on how it worked out for you.
Same thing here. I ended up last year going with shorter HD air shocks, I tried the RR seat, but my nutz hurt after a few miles and took the seat off. Just this week had the Progressive spring cartridges in to lower the front. It was OK just doing the back but I think it will be better with the fronts to match stock spec's. I know it feels lower now that the fronts are done. Another 2 months before a test ride though.
