Do the pushrods come with decent instructions on setting them up correctly? Are they difficult to get them right? Gathering info and parts at the present time. Dealer by me is offering 20-50% off storewide for the next 2 weeks and I want to get a few things from the parts department while I can.

Yes, the instructions are good that come with them. They are very easy to install, just take your time, watch the nuts on them, and wait for the lifters to bleed down before doing to other cylinder.

They are having a "Crusin' to Daytona" sale Feb 10-28. Discounts of 20%-50% off storewide including previously discounted items.
I didn't buy my bike from these guys but will definitely look into it for the next one. Great shop. The one I bought my bike from is about 5 minutes from meand I have yet to receive any mailing from them about anything. I guess spending +20k doesn't entitle you to be on a mailing list.
Take your time installing (instructions are good), but don't overtorque the lock nuts! The mech that installed the ez rods on my King (for the last owner) torqued them good and I had to cut them out because the threads on the rods were too jacked up to fully collapse the rods for removal.
My advice is to get them adusted, then put a drop of blue Loctite on the nut even though the intructions don't call for it. I had one loosen up after about 2k miles. It happened on the interstate, I couldn't hear well because of the traffic to figure out what was happening. I stopped the bike and tried to restart it one too many times. It kicked back and bent a pushrod. I had to get a trailer ride home. Loosened adjustables aren't common, but they aren't rare either. I have shared this story on other forums and had more than one guy say the same thing happened to them.
Dealers are definetly a strange bunch! I had a similar experiance with my sale and now I feel weird going there....
I was at the dealer I purchased from recently and the manager mentioned that they don't see me in there much. I let him know that there was no reason to come in seeing as I was getting 20% off at other shops that I didn't spend +20K at. Kind of like FuelMoto where they will send you maps for your pclll even though you didn't purchase from them originally. You can bet they have earned my business for my next pclll on my next bike. That stuff goes a long way with me.

See, this is the stuff that makes me wonder if using the stock gasket instead of the cometic .030 and using the stock pushrods isn't the best bet. Appreciate the info.
