Default lowering 04 fhlt Classic

What is the disadvantages of lowering the front of my 04 fhlt using the HD kit . Will it change the ride or bottom out.
Thanks Carl

It won't ride any better, but ti might look different. If you lower the front, then you need to lower the back so you keep the correct geometry between the front and back. Lowering is just a looks thing and an aid for shorter riders....I would keep it the same and just enjoy it the wway it is.

Ride on.

Scott (above) is right. You can lower the rear without lowering the front but you can't lower the front without lowering the back. I have my roadglide lowered 1 1/4 in front and back. I don't bottom out, it screams around corners and I dont scrape my floorboards.

Scott,
Lowering it//front and rear will give you a lower center of gravity for better handling. See my pic///I have a 1" lower front and rear. I am 6-3
