Default Fuel Moto compression?

Hey guys ,

I just received my 107 kit and have a question for any of you that have done one.I didn't specify i wanted 10.5-1 instead of 10.25-1 did any of you? I know that they usually run 10.5 with the 777's just wondering if it's head gasket differences or piston differences? My pistons say 10-1.Thanks for any input.

Is the piston a flat top? if it is you would need to shave the heads a little to get 10.5-1 with a .030 head gasket. Did they do your heads? If so they may have taken some off to bring it up to 10.5-1.

when they say cam run with 10 to 1 comp its not the piston comp like wiseco 10.5 to 1 its static comp the result of the piston size and the combustion chamber of the head and the head gasket thickness go check the calculator on the link there really good coud vary a bit but close enough

If you are using our 107 kit with our standard flat top piston and our FM Level B CNC heads it will calculate to 10.4 compression.

So Jamie, if we are running the CP BHM107-3's (10.75:1), +3 domed pistons with your kit 107" and your Level B CNC heads, what does the static compression ratio work out to be?

You really would be better off contacting him at his workshop, rather than on here!
