Well after I said I would keep my bike, 2010 street glide, I gave in to temptation and pulled the trigger on a new Electra Glide Classic.
I go pick it up on Monday! Excited but yet a little down... Only had the glide a year, but the wife loves to ride and it was just murder on her back... I hope the Classic works better, no more bikes for me in the next eternity!
After a lot of thought we decide on the vivid black. I wanted the blue but hey I will take what I can get(afford). Lol
I just hope all goes smooth on Monday, I am so damn nervous...
Almost a guarantee.... we upgraded a couple years ago and she loves to ride now... talks to all her non-riding friends about it... you won't be sorry...
Good luck to you both.
As per the post here on HD Forums, BLACK is proven to be the fastest color.
Like the old saying goes "Once Ya go Black, Ya never go back !!!"

Clearly he typed this on his smart phone because I think it accidentally replaced Red with Black
Congrats. I'm having that same issue but I don't think I can part with my 09 Street Glide. Hopefully I a couple years I can swing a 2nd bike and get the Ultra.
I was never really attached to the street glide like I thought I would be. It was/is a great bike, just not as smooth at the classic and ultra. Still if I could have two bikes, I'd keep the glide...
