Default Roadglide/Heritage bars question

I'm getting ready to change out the stock bars on my Roadglide Ultra. I've pretty much decided on the Heritage bars for the Roadglide. I'm pretty confident that the clutch, brake and switch lines will fit; my question is on the TBW. Will I need to get an extension to make this fit with the Heritage bars? Some people have told me I don't need and extension and some say I do. I'd like to get information from someone who has actually installed Heritage bars. Do I need an extension or not?

I installed them on my bike, no extensions needed. There is a ton of extra wire tucked in the fairing for the TBW . Clutch and brake work fine with the Heritage Style Bars.

I have them on my bike and they work great for me, best $ 70 I spent on it.

Be sure you get the Heritage Style bars not Heritage Bars so they are notched for the TBW

This is the part available in polished or black ( I have black on my bike, see my albums)

Heritage Style Handlebar - Polished

Designed to provide extra touring comfort for the Road KingŽ or Road GlideŽ rider, this 1" diameter polished stainless steel bar has 3" more pullback compared to the stock Road KingŽ handlebar.

Handlebar Installation Requirements
56902-08

Fits '08-later FLHR, FLHRC, FLTR, FLTRU and FLTRX models. All models require separate purchase of additional components. Does not fit models with Sidecar, Heated Hand Grips with internal switch wiring, Hydraulic Clutch Kits, Handlebar Mounted Gauges, or Road Tech™ Riser Mount Radio.

MSRP US $79.95

How or did you remove the left hand grip?
Or did you just put on new Hand Grips?
