Does anyone know where I can get one of those handy little touch up pens? I installed new amp and speakers tonight and like a dumb ace before fastening everything down I had to hear it rock first. It all came to an abrupt end when the new amp came crashing down on my pristine fender. I knew better!!!!
Not sure if Harley has them, they do have the small bottle with the brush, usually you can get it in a kit forr your paint with the base color & clear. You forgot rule #1, always cover ANY paint ANYWHERE near what you're working on with a towel at least.

I know I should have covered the fender, I actually thought about it but just didnt because I was in a hurry to hear the new system. If I could kick myself in the ace I would.

This is the touch up kit, I got one recently to cover a small stonechip - get them from a Harley dealer although mine took weeks to come
That sounds like something I would do Z71...I feel your pain! Not long ago I thought I found a good place to hang my 40cal while riding. When I got home I found a nice rub mark on my bag lid. Damn!

Awe Man, I feel for ya. The amp is heavy enough that it must have left quite a dent as well? I did something similar with my outer fairing. My fender was covered but the hit put a nice dent in the front fender. Harley touch up is the best to use for a close match. I've tried others but Harley always seems the closest match. Touch up is never perfect however.
