I think HD made some positive changes for 2014. Gotta wonder though if some of the guys griping about the changes would be griping if there were only minor changes?
By far the best info so far. Still waiting for a better pic of the inside of the batwing. Oakland Harley has done a phenomenal job though!
Looks like Harley has been working really hard. Hope pricing stays where it is. Wonder how much of this stuff can be retrofitted. I'm not salivating yet, but I'm always thinking...

problem is they dont have enough decent techs to fix what they have been making for years. It was evident at the denver dealer when they were trying to build these bikes for the release show its a whole new ball game.I dont see that as a positive myself
Changes like this are bound to have problems. You know what they say about cars: Never buy the first year. With FI that was true on Harley's too. I look forward to seeing what the future brings. Besides the RG next year I think we'll see people exited about Harley patching things that arise in 2014 models.
Wonder if any suspension issues have been addressed. Haven't heard anything yet and it wouldn't be something you can see
when I was fighting my wheel bearing issue during sturgis I was told by 2 dealers that due to it being the first modification that most owners did the factory was going to offer a bigger wheel stock on the street glide.Possible rake changes were to go along with that

Hope that means a wider (radial compatible) rear wheel along with it.......5" just isn't enough - oh, and some radial rubber to go with it.
If the new FB is any indication, the new thing to do is have HD written in big bold letters on your wheels..........who's gonna be the first to retrofit?
