do the air deflectors work?
i have 2012 road glide custom and was wondering if the air deflectors that snap on under the gas tank really work worth a hoot. i just mounted a 12 inch mako lrs windshield on my bike that i think is the bomb, now if i can get the air that bugs me coming up around the tank i think i would have the perfect ride for me.

We got them with our bike when purchased but not installed, they are literally a snap to install and YES when on make a world of difference as to air from around the tank!

i was riding down the highway and got into an area where they were mowing the median. they had left a ton of mowed grass on the road. when i rode over it, you could see the grass come up over the tank, but the deflectors would send it straight up over my head and then the wind would catch it.
so yes, they do work. and if you want to 'see' how well, go ride over fresh cut grass
