I read where someone ask about the location of the aux. connection. I never did find mine on my Road King. Would it also be under the seat near the battery? What should I look for?
Area you talking about the pigtail that is used to connect a battery tender? On mine, supplied by the dealership, was visible on the left side of the bike, hanging down between the side cover and the rear cylinder.
It is my understanding, that the MOCO doesn't supply this part, but that some dealerships install them during prep. And some, likewise, don't.
If it still like what was installed in the 1997 FLHR, it's a 4 pin Deutsche connector. It is under the seat just in front of the negative terminal and has a rubber cap on it that gives the illusion of being hooked to something. One pin is parking lights, one pin brake lights, one pin is the aux connector switched from the front, and 4th one is a ground. Harley sells a pigtail you can plug into so you can wire multiple components.
