Default Fork wind deflectors?

hearing good things about them but seems that most of the bikes they are being put on have lowers. I have an electra glide with no lowers and have not really noticed any excessive wind coming up from around the tank. wondering if the lowers are actually directing the wind flow up to the rider? has anyone put them on with no lowers and noticed a considerable difference? As i said, I don't notice any excessive buffeting but maybe after all these years it just seems normal but hell, I'M UP FOR ANYTHING THAT MAKES LIFE EASIER

The latest of wind turbulence threads. I have an 09 Electra glide classic, no lowers, and have installed the chrome fork wind deflectors along with the chrome ( ach tray ) type deflector that attaches under the fork. I have noticed a dramatic decrease in wind turbulence. The music sounds better, less rain up inside the glasses and much less head rattle. Everyone has their own opinion on the wind deflectors, do they work or not, do they increase the motor temp or not but we all agree on one thing, they are not very pretty. I'll keep mine on. IMO the benefits out weigh the negatives.

I put 'em on in the fall and remove them when it gets warm out. They are relatively cheap so give them a try.

I put them on my Road Glide (no lowers) and they made a difference. Cheap ($35?) and they install in a matter of minutes. With the deflectors and my MadStad shield, all is good!

That is what keeps me from putting them on. Everyone I know that has them loves them but I just can't "pull the trigger".... Sorry but I hate that phrase and just seemed an appropriate interjection of humor.

Put them on last winter, they worked but didn't like the look. Took them off in the spring. After two weeks put them back on and they're still there. They work! I got used to the look.

I have both the baffle and the chrome fork mounted deflectors and with the soft lowers on in the winter it makes a huge difference...I usually install and remove as the cold season comes /goes...

I use them and the baffle in winter (very short season down here) and take them off as soon as it warms up. And.. I like the look.
