I was installing my new bars on my bike and I broke the green connector on TBW cable. On the part itself it has a sticker with the part#70415-08A. I call my dealer and he said they have part#70415-08. My cable has a black connector on the side with the green connector. The dealer said the one he has only has the green connector by itself. So I would like to know if that part he has will work, or do I need the 08A? He said he doesnt have 08A in his computer.
Any help would be great
2kids,
Thanks for quick reply. I was going to do that, but it only cost $23. Im not that good at sodering either.
I figured the black plug was for heated grips. So I can use the one from the dealer with no problem then? Then on the throttle sleeve itself, just leave the black connector off correct?
Thanks
On this same topic. Any good tips on getting the TBW through the bars? I have a couple of tight angles on my bars. I heard use grease, dish washing liquid. Any ideas would be great.
Thanks.

Get rid of the green plug
I slid this over my wire bundles..this stuff is slippery, I could push the wire bundles through the bars.
