I have the LRS Ultra 8" shield with 10" (more like 12") Yaffe bars and it seems to me that the 14" should fit just fine. Mine are rolled as far forward as my hogtunes tweeter pod would allow.
The 14" bars would really only be higher after the bend for the fairing. So you shouldnt have to worry about them going forward towards the shield.
Hammr_hed, your hands shouldnt be in the way of the shield - the bars are wider than the shield. Let me look for another pic and i'll show ya what i mean.
With this pic you can see how wide your grip is. So your hands wont be in the way.
This isn't a great pic to show this, but it's the best i have right now. If you take your mouse and draw an imaginary line from the peaks of my bars, you can see that the windshield kicks forward, so there shouldn't be an issue with hitting.
I had my bars pushed as far forward as the fairing would allow, and the edge of my front brake master cylinder banjo bolt barely touched the edge of the shield. Normally, this wouldn't happen, but like I said, I wanted the bars forward.
I have also installed this combination on other bikes, with no touching at all.

For reference:
I really like your bike!!! I noticed you have fairing mounted mirrors.. how do you like them? Can you still see out of them good?
Your bike is awesome. I went with these same 14" bars after looking at your pics. I put my bars all the way forward as you did. My levers are right at the shield. I just went to my local shop to do the job, as this work is a bit over my head. I just sat on it to set the pitch or angle and cant wait to ride it. I love the solo seat look also. I was thinking of c&c seat. What do you have on there?
