Default Power commander question / help

Hello, need some suggestion and direction from those with PC III experience. I have an 2006 SG , 88 cu.in. , Roland sands air cleaner, MGS true dauls and Andrews 26 cams. Along with a PCIII. I can't get to a dyno tune before bike week because of a crazy schedule.
I tried a few maps that were kinda close tony set up and the 3-4 of them I tried , all had a problem either at idle, accelerating , or pops on decel. I finally put one in for a similar set up but for a 1550 cc motor. It's running beautiful. Pulls hard up the Rpm's, nice idle and no pop on decel.
I know this map isn't the optimum set up without a tune , but if all feels great, do you think I should be ok for bike week? Any input would greatly be appreciated. Thankyou.

Chances are, that map is gonna be richer than leaner for your setup. While richer is clearly the safer option, I still wouldn't want to ride thousands of miles with an incorrect tune If you're only talking about riding a couple of hundred miles, Maybe that will be OK. You know the pc3 has the ability to manual tune as Well. The buttons on the box will allow you to add or reduce fuel in the low, mid, and high range. Get a buddy to ride behind you. Ask him to pay attention to the exhaust of your bike when you are at different rpm. If he sees black smoke, ask him to note the speed and you can take away a little fuel. Again, richer is better, and it's your bike, your investment. Your choice....

Just FYI check your nozzle size that year they made the change .Did a deluxe that
had smaller size and the map set in the pc was wrong on mixture.

Ride it like you stole it....it'll be fine for bike week and beyond. If it runs good I wouldnt waste money on a tune.
