Default Saddle Bag Spear Trim Kit

Thinking of putting on the saddle bag spear trim kit. To accent the tour pac spear tips I put on to do away with the ugly luggage rack. The tour pac looks good now and quite streamlined. They were put on with 3m tape instead of bolts to hold them in place. Kinda dumb! they should have put studs threw them if one wanted to use the rack! Any how has anyone used the spear tips on there side bags? Im hearing they have a template and you have to drill holes in the bags to attach! Anyone put them on? If so would you share some pics ! Eric

The ones that I've seen require holes to be drilled in the bag tops ... permanent installation!

I did them on mine. This is about the clearest picture I have. I dig the look.....at least on my scoot. The template that is included is pretty much dead nuts on. I followed it to a TEE and double checked all measurements before I drilled. I used blue painters masking tape on the lid to mark where the template wanted me to drill.....JUST TO MAKE SURE their measurements were correct. They are spot on and both sides are equal. Mine are dead nuts center on the lids. I was actually pretty impressed with their template as far as accuracy.....but measure 3 times, drill once is my advice.

Hey, RF those look better than I thought, I have the ones that go on the tour pack and this will give my bike a more flowed look. I cant for the life of me understand why the tour pac ones dont bolt on? the holes are allready there, really dumb. My bike is a vivid black UC. Thanks for the help and the great pic of your RK sweet!!
