H-D makes an antenna that mounts between the frame and hard bag on the left side. It's a quick and easy install.
Is that the one for the AM/FM antenna, I can't seem to find one for the CB.
If you look under the mat in the tour pack the large metal plate is what's called a ground plane...
Cb's can't work with any accuracy, without a good ground plane, even the handheld Cb's have this built in... altho the range is quite short, it's it's adequate for
emergency communication... ( ie flat tire, out of gas) Altho the cell phone has changed all that now...
The CB usefulness has gone away to a point... But there is a solution... it's calledNextel Technology... If that was implemented in a platform
that could be done on a broader plane... it would revolutionize what we know as the Citizen Band Radio...
The first one I bought was for the stereo and the CB. Bought it at the dealer. I can't find my parts book to give you the number. I'll keep looking and if I find it I'll let you know.

You can get a truckers mirror mount kit from Radio Shack that will work off of the crash bar rails.
Ricarro, the part # is 76340-98, FLTR/I CB Antenna kit. I have been running it on my Ultra when I take my T/P off. It mounts on the right side support bracket and sits between it and the right saddlebag. It uses a base loaded antenna and works fairly well.
