Default PV Autotune - WOW!

I Basic autotune today for about 45 minutes. All I can say is wow, seat of the pants said big difference. Way better acceleration, the bike actually woke up. I autotuned the tune that FuelMoto sent me originally. Well worth the money.

Default PV great tool

I too love my PV!! I also have the AT 100 auto tune module with the widebands, although have done several tunes with the narrow band sensors and they work very well. I do like the ability to do the data gathering in real world loading of the machine, I feel it has an advantage over a canned map ten fold..Thanks Dynojet!! Scooter

I can't wait to do mine. I'll be installing the fullsac xpipe tomorrow, will re-map and go for a ride with the PV hooked up for the basic autotune.
Did you logged in only one ride?

Do you need to leave it hooked up to auto tune? I have been reading these and want to do it also

As BrownSanta said, you must connect the PV display module to the bike while the tuning process is going on. With Autotune you don't need a computer, but can do all the steps in the process while the PV is connected to the bike from datalogging to the final flash. Once the tuning process is completed you can remove the PV from the bike, or like I and many others do have it mounted to the handlebars to allow viewing of the many ECM and calculated parameters that are available. For temporary use (i.e. tuning) you can simply store it in the saddlebags or even your pocket while riding.

Yes, this was my first autotune. As the weather gets better I'll continue to autotune the same tune.

Glad they made auto tune basic for the PV. I have yet to update the firmware for it.
