I don't have a pic handy but I got my console powder coated black and put in the insert with the Willie g skull on it. I wish they made one with the dark custom logo
There is a company that makes them. You will see their ad on here sometimes. I believe they are called tail art or something.
dam i just deleated a bunch of older pics and yup you guessed. pics of my consol from last year. pc denim black and carbon fiber insert. had fuel door dipped in CF and saddlebag latches have CF inserts as well. if you zoom in on pic you can see CF insert in saddlebag latch. the fuel door was off in this pick getting dipped.
It was waaaay cheaper then anything from the MoCo and looks great. They have quite a few options. One thing tho, I replaced the doublesided tape that came on mine with some thinner ds tape that is normally used to apply kitchen backsplash panels. It sits down in the console better IMHO.
I'm powder coating my console gloss black and using my HD Chrome #1 Skull fuel lid and an Arlen Ness Scalloped Chrome Insert ("04-131). Nice contrast I think.
Anybody looking for the AN insert, check Amazon. $41 shipped.

If you come across the picture again please post it. I was leaning towards a carbon fiber design. I took this idea from another forum members photo of his 2012 CVO Street Glide. Thinking of something similar to this.
