Stupid damn safety warning stickers from the crashbars and various other places on my old road king. Holy crap what a job that turned out to be. It's almost as if they don't want you to take them off or something. Amazing how something so inconsequential as that can really clean up the look of the bike though.

One of the first things I do to every bike I've had.....pull the decals, badges and reflectors. I really like the cleaner look! You're right...they do NOT make it easy!

I always remove all of the stickers from my new bikes. I've found that if I ask my wife real nice, she will let me use her hairdryer. I run it on the hottest setting, warm the area real well and it peels right off. If there is any residue from the glue, I use WD-40 to clean it up.

I usually use 40 as well but it wouldn't cut the stuff this time

i do believe you have voided your warranty...removing that excess weight shows that you are inclined to go fast and might very well engage in a contest of speed.
the engineers spent a lot of time and money on research as to where to place those decals---they were placed to maximize the aerodynamics of your machine. do not be surprised if you experience high speed wobble, poorer gas mileage, increased tire wear, and your motor will run hotter. or something serious could happen!
