Default Road Glide Performance Enhancement

I have a stock 06 Road Glide. I would to enhance the performance without going to a 95 inch kit. I am considering truduals, V&H or Rinehart slipons, stage I kit and race tuner. I am not looking increase sound only performance. Will these additions noticably increase performance? Or would I be better off keeping it stock? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

True duals won't help with the power, but, a good set of slip-ons, a free flow breather and a SERT will.

True duals hurt low end torque, it moves power band up in the rpm range. Other than that sounds like you will get what you want.

I have heard that the Ness Big Sucker intake performs better than the SE Stage 1. Unless it is a noticable difference, I will keep my Stage 1 intake, but if I were to build another one, I would try the Ness.

If you're only increasing airflow with intake and pipes, go with a DFO instead of a race tuner. You'll save $$ and it's simple to set up.

As the guys said, Stage 1 and some open mufflers will make a difference. It's the least expensive upgrade you can make. If you want something more, the next step is to replace the cams.....HD 203's are excellent, and there is an ECU download available without having to resort to the Race Tuner expense.

If it were me...I would get a good 2-1 exhaust (probably a supertrapp), a PC III usb and a stage 1 breather. You'll notice an increase in 10-15 ft/lbs of torque and maybe 8-10 hp. You really don't need the extra power (timing etc.)of a race tuner. Beware...power is addictive.
