Hoping someone here can help me with the above. I bought a used unit and I am stuck on how you connect the two wire leads, black and red, to the 23 pin connector that goes into the stock head unit. The online instructions and a YouTube video I found did not help. The rest of the install looks straight forward.
Thanks Guys, RhinoHd that is what I was looking for. All the other online instructions did not show that detail. I was confused because I bought used and there were no t taps included, that and the ends that are on the wires are not compatible with a t tap so the previous owner must have had a different set up. Having said all that it looks pretty tight in the harness but I guess it has been done many time before
I just ordered the HDPD Plus II for my 2010 Ultra Limited. Has anyone tried the newer generation Ipods? I have a 7th gen Nanno and was wondering would it work, or would I have to get an older generation Ipod?

It works with the new Lightning devices as long as you use an Apple 30 pin to Lightning adapter. Most of the aftermarket adapters are just for charging. The Apple adapter does it all and the HDPDPLUS II works great with it.

I've just ordered the HDPDPlus, glad it's working with the adapter, as that's what I was going to use. How did you mount the phone/iPod device?
I installed the HDPDPLUS II in my '08 Ultra. Using a Nano Ipod 3rd generation. I am unable to control it with the handlebar controls. Anybody else have this problem?
