I'm in the middle of installing the Iron Cross ipod interface and I'm unclear about inserting the units two wires into the # 19 & 20 bays of the 23 Pin Connector. The two wires on the HDPDPLUS have a "T-pin" at the end of them. Am I COMBINING the existing wires, WITH the HDPDPLUS wires, OR am I REPLACING the existing wires? And, do i cut off the connectors on the two HDPDPLUS to fit them into the 23 Pin Connector. Also, note all the tape around the 23 Pin Connector. Can I cut some of that away to get in there? Sorry to be such a mechanical newb, but man, I'm trying. Thanks for any help

 

Not sure if you have the updated kit or not.You can and I had to cut back the wrap on the harness to get at the two wires you t-tap into for power and ground.
