So I'm not the only one who is looking at the dirt that accumulates quickly in these areas.
I bought some foam insulation with adhesive and I'm going to try to seal the panel over the fuses and under the seat somewhat to slow down the amount of dirt that gets in. I'm thinking that eventually some wire connector isn't going to work too good with the crud.
Yes I was amazed at how much dust and dirt was inside the fuse box. Thanks for the tips, confirms to me that a little soap and water in this area is OK.
My seat comes off when I wash but I lay a folded towel over the battery area to keep it from getting saturated. The dampness that the towel gets is enough to clean up that area. Under the side covers?? Not even gonna bother. That would be like trying to keep the under carriage clean.
Take pick up truck to local Home Depot or Lowes. There are usually about 4 or 5 illegal immigrants there looking for work. They usually hang out where the sod is stacked at my local Lowes. Twenty bucks, a box of Q-Tips and some water and you should be good to go. Not sure why I am posting this, but really pissed at our government right now, so I am venting.
