I have never trailered my harley before, I use this trailer for my dirt bikes usually. If the weather was better here I would ride it. I can't justify the expense of an enclosed trailer for a trip I may only do once. Hey you ride your bike down the road right? What's the difference having it on an open trailer?

If you've got stone guards on the trailer what's the difference in trailering it or riding it ?

No, it's a Worthington all aluminum trailer. Great lightweight unit, big enough for 2 touring bikes or 3 dirt bikes, it's wider than it looks in the picture.

Saves wear and tear on the bike tires and engine. Should last a long time that way.
