Default I know, do a search

but I did.. can't seem to find what I'm looking for specifically.

I hate these hard black heated grips on my FLHTK so decided it was time for a change. I hee-hawed around about the Avon "cushion grips" then read a few posts where folks are saying that they don't feel natural because of the diameter. Anyways I went back with what I know and the ONLY Kuyrakyn product I'll ever buy, the ISO grips. So couldn't make up my mind which I wanted, black or chrome so I wound up ordering both and will return which ever I don't use.

I think I've used the heated grip function twice this winter (this is texas afterall) and then only to make sure they worked. So with that said.

I want to take the heated grips off completely and replace with the ISO grips. What I'm asking of those who have done it; what do you do with the wiring inside the handlebars? Is it as simple as Im thinking it is by unplugging the harness on each side from within the fairing and slide the wires out when you take the grips off? Are there any "gotchas" to look out for?

TIA

There are plugs on the inside, brown if I remember correctly. Just unplug and go. Pretty easy.
