2000 screamin eagle road glide
hi guys im looking at buying a 2000 screamin eagle road glide with 45k on it. i am alittle concerned with the miles and the fact that the owner hasnt done anything with the cam chain tensioners. he told me that the first owner sold it to him with 40k on it 3 years ago. i asked him if i could get the name and number of the original owner and he said he moved down south. my question is if the original owner sold the bike with 40k do u think there is a chance he did anything with the tensioners? also the owner said he always ran full synthetic in the bike. ive heard that that extends the tensioners alittle bit. the bike it in mint condition and the guy is asking $8800 how the price sound?

That's a pretty decent price, those are nice bikes, just plan on at least inspecting the tensioners & figure replacement into the cost of buying the bike. There's one on the forum with over 110K on it & going strong, I believe Stiggy is his forum name. What color is it?
