One word = SUCK! One good way to bend a rim, pop a tire, or ruin your ride...

Just a little change. We have them here in Texas and the city doesn't like fixing them.

You all haven't seen Covered wagon roads or pot holes until you visit Vermont! lol Not to mention those 6" wide gaps caused by the frost heaves. Once the frost heaves lay down flat you don't see those gaps, particulary when rounding a nice sweeping corner, until your tires get swallowed up in them. They have dropped many a biker since the state claims they have run dry on the transportation budget and have no money for road repair!

How about the beginning of Mud season in Vermont to add insult to injury. Yep, this is only the very beginning layer of the spring road thaw! This is the easy part! Those ruts will get MUCH deeper in weeks to come.

A deep pothole bottomed out my front and caused a dent in my fender. A warning, if you haven't changed your fork oil...you'll meet a pothole just like I did that'll make you wish you switched to heavier oil.

How about a plug for the joys of PA potholes... wish they would "plug" them in a timely manner. Once ya think you've got 'em all memorized, new ones appear...just can't win.
