Default Funny Story!
Went with a friend last weekend to the local stealer. My friend road over on a cage with some other friends. He was prepared to spend the $$$ to ride away that day. He purchased a used Softail Duece. We rode back home, unfortunately in the rain. When we arrived I asked the question "Well, what was it like riding a Harley home?. His response, "I tried not to smile so that I would look cool, but I just couldn't help it...I was grinnin ear to ear all the way home."

I have had several new H~Ds and my smile is still here from the first one. As for riding in the rain it is better than the best day I ever had working and I really enjoyed my job. But being retired and can ride in the rain or anytime for that matter was worth the wait.

I have had my first HD, an '04 FLHTPI, for two years and 40K miles, and I still smile. I am surprised how many stern looking guys on Harleys I see; the smiling guys are a definite minority. Used to wonder what it would take for the grimace riders to smile.

I will be bringing my new '07 RG home in a couple of weeks and fully expect it to be raining. I also expect I will be grinning all the way, it will be worth the near drowning! lol
