Going from Heritage Bars to Carlini 16" Gangster Apes! Will start next Friday evening continuing over to Saturday and plan on having a "bar party" at the house with buddies and their wives to hang out eat some smoked BBQ, drink beer and act like idiots most of the day.
I'm not much of a wrencher but have been years ago, I did help swapping out the heritage bars from stock but that didn't include new cables, wires, etc...
So the bars will be here next week along with other goodies...what am I forgetting?

LA Chopper - Braided Cable kit /ABS
wire kit

Smoked Pulled Pork and all the beer we can drink
I just have this weird feeling I'm forgetting something and don't want to have to make extra trips to the parts store or HD.
I swapped out Heritage style bars for 14" Wild Ones last month. The only thing I didn't see on your list was a large helping of patience, When you are pulling those wires thru the bars and removing all the wires from the molex connectors etc, you will need a healthy dose of it. You may also want to add some words to your vocabulary that those around you may accept when things go wrong. It's not all that bad but will test ya.
If you bought a brake line kit the crush washers should be in there. I have done several of these installs and have found that the Harley crush washers seem to work best. Don't ask me why, don't know, but the ones I did with aftermarket washers always were harder to stop pressure leaks. Silicone spray works plus take the large plastic wrap off the wires and use shrink tite instead. Dont' shrink it the whole way, it bends better.
