New rims and tires.
Got new wheels and tires. Simple, not flashy. Not expensive. Gangster.
american wire 21x2.15
and stock HD laced rear 16x3
Metzler marathon 880 WWWs
90/90/21 front
MT90b16 rear
Got a little help from duglaura&flhti as he sold and shipped me a very nice stock take off rear wheel. Thanks again man! It's great having helpful people around here.
Couldn't have done the work without lurking around this forum and using the search button repeatedly.
I'll take better pictures when it's not cold and snowy.
On my test ride, I noticed no difference in how the narrow 21" felt compared to the fat 16" front......I suppose riding it more will give me a better idea, but I gotta say, all the fuss here on the forum about it had me concerned. Now I can say; it ain't a thang!

Removal of rear, many beers later:
After mount and balance and reinstallation:
Took her on a shakedown around my cold snowy neighborhood :

Post a pic of yours with the front skinny and the drop. I considered that for my next mod....

Here ya go....
1.5 " drop in front and 1.375" in rear. Bitchin Baggers dampening tubes up front, keep all stock springs, rides great! and no fender bottoming...80 bucks! Let me know if you have any questions, I'm here to help.

Looking good! It is hard to beat the classic look of spokes with white walls. The bike looks timeless. Now the fun part is riding it! My trick for keeping white walls clean is Shout! laundry stain remover on a Mr. Clean magic eraser. It works great. Enjoy!
