Default Stereo Gurus...

I am just finishing the winter Radio Upgrade! Last year I did the Rockford 300 2ch am and set of t165 Rockford speakers now this winter I added a Sony Dsx-mx60 Radio I was not to happy with the sound of the speakers with the radio upgrade so I went and got a set Rockford t165s and installed them today. they sound great just got them wired in and speaker pods installed in top gauge holes. Here is the questions On the cross overs there is a plus\minus setting for hz what does this do? and on the radio there is a setting for high\mid\low what does this do for settings? what is high..bass? what is mids? etc... thanks for any help...I going out in am to tune this set up..

If I guessed, and that is what I am doing, I would say that those setting may be impedance related to allow for the correct setting for the various combinations of speakers and number of speakers being connected to the radio/amp.

The radio settings high\mid\low increase or decrease the volume of the High/mid/low frequencies. If you want more bass turn up (+) the low etc. The switch on the crossover increases/decreases tweeter volume.

So was there a vast change in sound going from the t165 to the t165s?
