4 inch Basani mufflers

Default 4 inch Basani mufflers
I have a set of four inch bassani mufflers on my 12 Electra Glide Classic. The right side is hitting the axel bolt? I have tried to adjust the pipes and can not get the muffler far enough away from the axel? Any suggestions appreciated!

Can you post a few pictures?

Maybe if we can see it we could tell you where to adjust it.

Did you replace the headers also?

Have you loosened the muffler clamp and twisted it outwards away from the nut, as shown in my diagram?

I had the same problem with those on my '07 Road King. I used a grease pencil and marked the spot then removed them and Took a small mallet to that spot. Problem solved.

I put 4 flat washes as spacers under each of the bolts to drop it down slightly. Worked fine for my Fatshotz.

Sure would like to know how you made this???

I had Basani on my Road King but now have RC Excalibur. No problems here.

Ball peen hammer at the right spot will solve the problem.

Mike, I just made it up real quick on Microsoft Power Point. Then made a .jpg screen shot of the screen. Does that make sense.
